Placing an Order

How do I place an order for delivery with Real Canadian Liquorstore?

To place an order for delivery through realcanadianliquorstore.ca, you must first register by logging in using your PC™ id credentials. If you do not have a PC™ id, you may register for one by clicking HERE.

PC™ ID

What is a PC™ ID?

A PC™ ID is a universal login that can be used to access your accounts across a variety of Loblaw and Shoppers Drug Mart online platforms. If you are registered with JoeFresh.ca, beautyBOUTIQUE.ca or an online grocery banner, you already have one. Your PC™ ID is your email address and password used as your login information when you shop online. You would be required to have a PC™ ID to shop online. Delivery

Who can place an online order for delivery through realcanadianliquorstore.ca?

You must be of legal age in Alberta (18 years old) to enter this website and make a purchase. Once your order is delivered to your door, you will be asked to provide valid Canadian government issued photo ID for verification before your order can be handed-off.

It is prohibited to deliver alcohol to those under the legal drinking age or to individuals who appear to be intoxicated.

When an order is being delivered to an individual who appears to be under 25 years of age, the driver will ask for Canadian government issued photo ID as proof of age.

We reserve the right to refuse delivery to anyone who appears intoxicated or cannot produce valid Canadian government issued photo ID. In any such case, the order will be returned to the store and a refund will be issued, less the delivery fee.

When will you deliver?

If you place your order by 5pm, we’ll deliver your order directly to you the very next day*. With limited spots available daily, if due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, delivery cannot be made the next day, it will be re-scheduled for the following day. You will be notified by customer service about the scheduled delivery.

What are your standard delivery days and times?

We deliver every day between 10 am and 8 pm (MST), though most deliveries will occur between 10:30 am to 2:30 pm (MST). If your order is placed before 5pm, you will be eligible for next day delivery*. On delivery day, you will be notified by text message when your delivery is 1 hour away and if your order cannot be delivered by 2:30 pm (MST).

How much does delivery cost?

There is a standard flat rate of $6.99 as a delivery fee for all eligible delivery locations.

Is there a minimum order for online ordering and home delivery?

There is no minimum purchase required to place an order through realcanadianliquorstore.ca. However, we do reserve the right to limit purchases in a single transaction to reasonable requirements. As always, we encourage our customers to enjoy responsibly and are supportive of Alberta’s commitment to creating a safe and social drinking culture.

What happens if I’m not home for my delivery?

On delivery day, you will be notified by text message when your delivery is 1 hour away. If you are not available at the time of delivery, you will be contacted by our Customer Service team to confirm a second delivery attempt.

What if I miss my delivery a second time?

If no one is available to accept your order on the second delivery attempt, your order will be returned to the store and your purchase will be refunded, less the delivery charge of $6.99.

What if the delivery cannot be completed due to regulatory issues such as failure to provide acceptable proof of age or intoxication?

Your order will be returned to the store and a refund will be issued, less the delivery fee of $6.99

Who can sign/accept my delivery?

You must be 18 years of age or older in the Province of Alberta to place an order and/or to sign and accept alcoholic beverage deliveries from Real Canadian Liquorstore™. Will I be notified when my order is delivered?

Since the delivery will be made in-person, a confirmation email isn’t required. But you will receive one for your records, and ours.

How do you deliver to condos and apartment buildings?

If you reside in a condo or apartment building, you will receive a call to the phone number and/or buzzer number provided at the time of your order, and we will deliver to your suite. Please have ID ready. If no one is available to accept delivery, you will be contacted by our Customer Service team to confirm a second delivery attempt.

What happens if there is a delay with my delivery?

It’s our goal to stay within our standard delivery times of 10am to 8pm. If there happens to be a change with your scheduled delivery, due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, our Customer Service team will notify you as soon as possible.

What if my items are damaged or leaking on delivery?

If your order is damaged or leaking upon delivery, please contact our Customer Service team.

How do I change my order?

Once your order is placed, you may contact our Customer Service team to modify your order up until 5pm the day before your scheduled delivery. Please note, any changes made to your order after that time, will make your order ineligible for your original scheduled delivery date. You will receive a confirmation email with your changes noted and a new delivery date. To modify your order or for inquiries on pending orders, please contact our Customer Service team.

Am I expected to tip the driver?

You are not required to tip but are encouraged to use your own discretion.

Can I earn and redeem PC Optimum points on the purchase of alcohol at Real Canadian Liquorstore™?

At this time, the earning and redemption of PC Optimum™ points is only permitted on purchase of alcohol in-store and not on the purchase of alcohol online.

Curbside Pick Up

Currently we have select stores providing service for curbside pick-up through online ordering. All pick up orders are next day**. Orders not picked up after 72 hours will be cancelled.

You can also call your local store to place an order over the phone for curbside pickup. This service is available for all Real Canadian Liquorstore™ locations.

What are your standard pick-up days and times?

Pick up at location is available 7 days a week from 10:30am to 6:00pm. 

Is there a minimum order for order pick up at Real Canadian Liquorstore?

There is no minimum purchase order for pick up at Real Canadian Liquorstore.

Will I be notified when my order is available for pick up?

Yes. You will receive a notification email when your order is ready for pick up.

How do I change my order?

Once your order is placed, you can call our Customer Service team to modify your order.

What do I need to pick up my order?
To complete your curbside pickup, please bring the order confirmation email along with a government-issued photo ID to your selected Real Canadian Liquorstore™ location. Once you park at a designated parking spot, please call the store and let them know you are there and provide them with your order number. A staff member will be happy to assist you and load your order in your vehicle. Your identification will be verified against the name on the order and is required as proof of legal drinking age.

Payments

Is there a subscription or delivery fee for orders placed through realcanadianliquorstore.ca?

Orders placed through realcanadianliquorstore.ca do not have a subscription fee. If ordering for delivery, there is a flat rate delivery fee of $6.99 per order. There is no minimum purchase required for delivery.

What are the payment options available?

We accept PC Mastercard, Visa and Mastercard.

Why don't you accept American Express?

Loblaws is dedicated to keeping its costs low and passing these savings onto our customers wherever possible. Given the costs associated with American Express, accepting MasterCard and Visa is an example of how we work to keep our costs down and help support our commitment to providing greater value to our customers.

What is the payment process?

At the time of placing the order, the amount due will be charged to your card on file (pre-authorization). However, the amount will be actually charged to your card at the time of delivery.

Can I get a refund or return the product?

If you are not satisfied with your product, you can refund or exchange your order in store at any of our Real Canadian Liquorstore™ locations by showing proof of purchase. Delivery fee of $6.99 is not refundable on returns or exchanges.
